The sun shone so beautifully today that I decided a walk would be good for me.  I wrapped up, grabbed my camera and took off into the village, aiming for the local church or thereabouts.  En route, I decided to go a little further and and into the Recreation Ground....well.....what a let down THAT was.  Apart from a few kids playing basketball, (and I always get worried about taking photos near other people's kids, you never know how people will react), there wasn't really much to inspire me

I headed back to the church and took some snaps of the gargoyles and some of the monuments in the churchyard, and then noticed a part of the churchyard that was covered in snowdrops, so I couldn't resist photographing them, so wonderful to see flowers after all that snow and ice

Anyway, back home now cuddling a cup of hot coffee and thawing out my poor frozen fingers.  Time to have a look at what photographic treasures (if any) I managed to get

I finally finished and posted my photos taken from my visit to the ruins of The Holy Ghost Chapel in Basingstoke.  It's such an atmospheric place and I'm really pleased with how the pictures turned out.  I hope you like them

Yep, it snowed overnight.  I don't feel much up to trudging off into the village today to take pics, but I did take a couple from the house.  I have such a love/hate relationship with snow.  I love to look at it, but hate to be in it

I had a good day today, and was able to get brave and go off into town armed with my camera.  Will be working on the results over the next few days and adding them to my gallery I hope you like....

I'm going to see the Hobbit today.  I'm a little nervous as I haven't been to the cinema in a little while and it's bound to be busy.  Sometimes my fear of being around people can be quite astounding, but I'm trying to re-channel that negative energy into something positive and creative

Hopefully Bilbo Baggins and the gang will inspire me to photograph something hobbity, who knows ?
